At CMHA Toronto we offer community support services for people living with severe and persistent mental illnesses like schizophrenia and mood disorders.

We know that waiting is hard when you need help but unfortunately many of our programs are at full capacity, so we regret that many new referrals have to go on wait lists.

We encourage you to contact our Information, Intake & Referral Services to discuss community support program criteria, program boundaries, any questions you might have and other options for service if needed.

Main Page Services

Contact us by phone or email for information about CMHA Toronto programs and mental health services in Toronto. We're here to help consumers, family members, friends of people living with mental illness, physicians, health care workers and social service workers by:

  • Responding by telephone, email and in person (in person by appointment please) to enquiries about mental health services in Toronto
  • Assessing whether someone might be eligible for CMHA Toronto services
  • Making referrals to appropriate CMHA Toronto programs and/or providing information about other agencies
  • Coordinating the referral process between CMHA Toronto programs
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with other community agencies to enhance access to resources for consumers of mental health services
