Holiday Gift Program
We all know the
importance of belonging, of being part of a community where we
all know that we’re accepted and loved, where we can give to
others, and where others give back to us.
But imagine what it would be like if you had no sense
of belonging, no sense that you mattered.
This is what it is like for many people who live with
mental illness.
For 55 years,
CMHA Toronto has remembered those with mental health issues,
providing more than 5,300 gifts of much-needed warm clothing
and personal items at the holiday season, sending a message
that they do belong, that they are cared for and that they
matter.
You can help to
create a sense of belonging for those living with mental
illness by giving to our Holiday Gift Program.
Your donation will ensure that those affected by mental
illness receive their own personal gift this holiday season.
Here are some
ways you can give:
Every dollar you donate goes directly to the cost of the
gifts, because our group of dedicated volunteers come together
to sort and wrap the gifts.
For those living
with mental illness, the holidays can be a sad and lonely
time, but with your generous support, we are changing that.
Your donation makes a difference – it means that a
gift is given to someone who would otherwise go without this
holiday season.
